The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn- Part 2 Review

Four years after the release of the first Twilight movie we have finally come full circle with the release of the fifth and final installment of The Twilight Saga. Breaking Dawn 2 does justice to the series, an explosive finale to an epic saga loved by people of all generations.

It is by far the most epic movie of the franchise. Seeing the world through vampire Bella’s eyes immediately puts the audience in the prime position to enjoy and experience the movie. It garners the viewers’ interest from Bella’s initial adrenaline driven first hunt to the epic battle towards the end of the movie, thus serving its purpose of keeping the audience on the edge of their seats throughout the movie.

However, there is more to the movie than just animal hunting and vampire battles. Watching Edward and Bella interact and bond with their fast growing daughter Renesmee, and grow as a family adds a completely new and sweet dimension to the movie.
The main plot of the movie, as many might believe is not Edward, Bella and their relation with daughter Renesmee. The Volturi make their return to the franchise from New Moon, with the intent of killing Renesmee, who they believe to be an immortal child, breaking one of the most important vampire’s laws. To save the child, for their future existence and to avoid a battle with the Volturi, all the Cullens set out on a journey to different parts of the world in order to assemble friends and family that will stand with them against the Volturi.

The ending montage highlighting Bella and Edward’s story, with                          Christina Perri’s “ A Thousand Years “ playing , was the perfect way to see off the final movie of this loved and epic franchise.

Stephenie  Meyer has declared that this is the last we’ll ever see of Edward and Bella and that this is the end of their story........But is this the last we have seen of any of these characters??? Well, if Alice’s vision of Renesmee as an adult is any indicator, there may be a continuation sometime in the future.

As the finale of an epic saga, The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 did justice to the books, the film franchise, and as a Twihard myself, I would say it did justice to us fans also. Hats off to the cast, crew and most importantly Bill Condon, the Director of the movie.
I hope you all enjoy the movie as much as I did!!!!!!!!!!

IMDb rating- 5.9/10
